the house of besette
We take diamonds seriously. Everything else? A little less so. Our ethos is simple: transparency, craftsmanship, and zero tolerance for outdated traditions. We believe in traceable stones, lab-grown options that don’t compromise on beauty, and a design process that actually feels personal. No smoke, no mirrors- just really good rings, made really well.
our founder erica besette
The story of Besette begins the way all good love stories do: unexpectedly. In Erica’s case, it was a college geology class, a deep dive into gemstones, and an instant obsession. That one class turned into years of study, a stint at the Gemological Institute of America, and a crash course in everything that’s broken about the traditional diamond industry. Fast forward: Besette was born to cut through the noise (and the markups) and offer something better. Think: beautifully made, thoughtfully sourced, and fully custom rings—minus the retail weirdness and outdated rules.
“I started Besette for people who care about the details- who want something meaningful, beautifully made, and a little off the beaten path. It’s not about doing what’s traditional. It’s about doing what feels right for you.”
every detail, considered.
To keep our standards sky-high, we work exclusively with a small team of master craftsmen- no assembly lines, no shortcuts. Each piece is made by hand, using a mix of traditional techniques and modern precision (yes, sometimes under a microscope). With decades of experience- some of it for the biggest names in fine jewelry- they bring every Besette design to life with care, intention, and an eye for detail you can actually see.
